Hello, I'm Sergio Herrera Batista, a 24-year-old professional photographer, cinematographer, and camera assistant based in the Canary Islands.
For the past six years, I've been involved in an array of both personal and professional photography and cinematography projects, some of which you can explore here on this website.
Mainly I work as 1AC, camera operator and DOP. In my crewbooking profile you can see some of the productions I have been to.
My motivation lies on portray the moments of life, the inframince of the moments and reflect the personality of the subjects, be they people, animals or places. I try to endow the images with a unique aesthetic that reflects these aspects, treating the composition, light and color meticulously and giving them a look that evokes the sensations of the moment in which the image was taken. I want to create something that stays, that survives. Something that you can look at and will transport you to that place and moment.
Although for my personal work I use my own and defined style, I am able to adapt to the client's needs and adopt a style that fits perfectly into the project.
